I’ve been a little M.I.A. lately, and while I’d love to say it’s been because I’ve been working on a bunch of new stuff, that’s not true. Mostly, I’ve been splitting my time between our kitchen remodel and binge watching new (to me) episodes of Once Upon a Time on Netflix. I’ve been trying to get some new paintings started, but I’m having a hard time motivating. So far, I’ve gessoed my canvas…and that’s it. Blerg.
I did have a co-worker share a fun little press piece with me last week. My children’s art print, “I See The Moon“, was featured in a Minted ad in Real Simple Magazine. It’s within a special insert for families, which I think was just sent to subscribers, but still pretty cool, nonetheless.
P.S. I just wanted to send a little shout out to Annie from Needle Points North for the very kind email she sent me this week. I was just having a blah start to the week and it’s amazing what such a short, kind note from a stranger did to lift my spirits. So, Annie, if you’re reading this, thank you!
