i love wrapping presents.  i think a beautifully wrapped gift or package makes giving or receiving a gift like giving or getting two gifts in one.  the best part is watching someone open that gift, trying not to tear the paper or cut the ribbon, because you know they’re going reuse your lovely packaging material on a gift to another.  scratch that, the best best thing? sneak attacking someone with a lovely gift out of the blue.  that’s the best.

i made these printable gift tags for all of you to download and use to make your packages to others beautiful, as well.  enjoy!

Happy Monday lovely readers!  Today I have a little surprise for you!  Remember that fabulous yellow necklace that I featured last week as one of my Etsy faves?  Well, Irena, the owner of the Oh Henry! shop has so generously offered to give one away to one of you.  I can hardly stand it, I’m so excited!
Oh Henry! is a lovely little boutique studio where Irena creates absolutely lovely pieces from earrings, to necklaces.  The Oh Henry! shop is located in Ljubljana so that makes it even more special for the winner is this giveaway.  I am absolutely in love with everything in this shop and am totally envious of the winner of this giveaway.
The giveaway that Irena has so generously offered to one of you is an “Oh Welloy” necklace as shown below! It would look as striking with a bright summer dress as it would as a pop of color against a little black dress for a night out.  Love, love, love.
I had the pleasure of asking Irena a few questions about herself and her shop.

Please tell us a little about yourself and about where you are from.
My name is Irena, I am from Slovenia, currently living in Ljubljana. I studied film directing in Czech Republic and now I work in Ljubljana. The town is capital of Slovenia and it’s very small in comparing to other capitals in Europe (and in world too), but it is beautiful and only 1 hour away from the seaside and one and a half away from the Alps.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by many various things, like my friends (who – most of them – are very creative and I get infected by that many times), empty clean paper sheets in store (oh, the opportunities…), cloudy sky and rain (I love rain and also trees, flowers, grass…), past times, colors, textiles (just bought my sewing machine), silence and life itself… I could spend days telling you what inspires me. I get inspired by people on Etsy, Flickr and by bloggers too, so thank you.
How did you begin creating your lovely items?
Well, I have to say I don’t… or didn’t wear jewelry much, mainly because I couldn’t find things I wanted to wear (oh, she’s very picky…). I prefer colors and minimalism, retro or just big jewelry. And so I started making things for myself, then my sister liked them and so did my Mum and than I gave few things to my friends and soon when a friend showed me Etsy, I decided to give it a try.  I still buy more things for making jewelry than I sell, but I enjoy making stuff, especially when I see that people like them.
What are your goals for your shop in the future?
My main goal is to sell everything there is in the shop, so I can buy more materials to make jewelry. No, I’m kidding… I actually don’t have goals for shop, my goal is to organize the mess I have at home, in my so called ‘creative place’… and to make new items, to put them in the shop.  And to sell them. Yes.
To enter the giveaway, I ask that you become a follower of the Inkling Paper blog (and if you are already, then you are ahead of the game!).  After that you have up to three separate opportunities to enter:
1. Visit the Oh Henry! shop.  Come back here and comment on your favorite item.
2. Blog about this giveaway!  Come back here and comment with the link to your post.
3. Tweet this giveaway!  Come back here and comment with the link to your tweet. (Please tag tweets with @inklingpaper so I can track them).
Please make sure to include some way to contact you should you be the lucky winner!
Giveaway ends at midnight on Monday, April 12th at 8am.  Please check back next week to see if you are the lucky winner!

Share the mistletoe love and snap up some of these cute holiday cards!  I created these using a hand drawn illustration as well as vector graphics.  The note cards are printed on 80# recycled card stock and paired with kraft envelopes.  I have them in the shop as a set of 6, but as a little bonus, from now until December 25th, I will be including a single one of these babies with every order.  A little holiday magic from me to you.
